The Kitchen Boy by Robert Alexander

One more fictional account to add to what really happened to Tsar Nicholas and Alexandra. This from the memory of the young kitchen boy who slipped unobserved in an out of the "House of Special Purpose" hoping for a rescue. There are references to real letters of the time which give it some historical heft and a surprise at the end (Just in case you are wondering, Anastasia does not survive in this version). Alexander as done his research and although he makes no claim to historical accuracy the horror of the experience of the Romanov family feels very real.
