Can't we talk about something more pleasant by Roz Chast

Chast, whose cartoons have appeared in the New Yorker, uses the graphic novel format to share a memoir about the final years of her parents' lives.  With great honesty and a fair amount of sarcasm, she tries to resolve her need to care for them now with her need to escape their kind of life when she was younger.  This is not a tender, End of Life Book Club, memoir.  There is conflict.  There is resentment.  Some things are resolved.  Some are not. Lots to think and talk about.
