The Great Gatsby by F.Scott Fitzgerald

You know this story of a great American Dream gone wrong so read it again for the language.  This is a quote from Matthew Bruccoli, the late Fitzgerald scholar: "The Great Gatsby does not proclaim the nobility of the human spirit; it is not politically correct; it does not reveal how to solve the problems of life; it delivers no fashionable or comforting messages.  It is just a masterpiece."  Agree?
