The Brutal Telling by Louise Penny

Folks keep trying to make me a mystery book lover and  the picturesque village of Three Pines in the woods of Canada and the careful probing of gentle Inspector Gamache make this series one of the most tempting so far.  A body is discovered in a popular restaurant.  Why does the owner of the restaurant pretend he doesn't know him?  How far will people go to keep the new B&B from opening?  What is buried behind the fireplace.   I'm still not sure who was really guilty but I'd like to read the next book to see what happens to these quirky folks.
