There comes a time when you think there isn't one more thing you can learn about the horrors of WWll and then there is. This book follows the lives of four women who have all been victims of the Holocaust in various ways but now all find themselves in the Atlit refugee camp in Palestine. Carried there in cattle cars, kept behind barbed wire fences, this is not the freedom they expected. As their friendship in this camp is forged so is a plan to escape. Based on real events of 1945, it is a tribute to the strength and determination of all who survived.
