There goes the Bride by M.C. Beaton
People keep recommending mysteries and I keep trying to like them. This is no exception. Living in a small village in the Cotswolds doesn't keep Agatha Raisin from her crime solving activities. This is #20 in the Agatha Raisin series and since I haven't read #1-19, I'm sure I missed some of the character connections but it has all the quirkiness necessary for a BBC series. In this case Agatha's former husband is all set to marry a sweet young thing when the bride turns up dead, Agatha becomes the primary suspect and nobody including the suave Frenchman pursuing Agatha is who they seem to be.
