Saving Fish from Drowning by Amy Tan

I don't remember Tan as an author of humorous farce but that is what I think this turned out to be. Until I figured that out, I totally bought into the story of this group of art lovers lost on an calamitous tour of Burma (Myanmar). The reality set-up is a total hook. The narrator is a dead art dealer, a "ghost writer" (sort of) - it should have been a hint. Duh!
